A once a year service is highly recommended for a regularly ridden bike, and important also if your steed has been hiding in the shed for a while! We check that your brakes will stop you, the gears are fine-tuned and all other moving parts are correctly tightened. Ultimately, regular preventative maintenance will prolong the lifespan of your bike and keep you safe.
